In the 21st century, globalization has advanced in a boundless manner, becoming a process that affects all countries. In this sense, globalization is a phenomenon in which the economic and cultural interaction among countries has expanded, and with the reduction of trade restrictions, world trade has increased at an extraordinary pace.
No country today can fully meet its own needs; instead, it supplies the goods and services it lacks from foreign production factors. In a way, each country develops and advances its own specific capabilities, while meeting its other needs by procuring goods and services produced in other countries. The factors that facilitate the acceleration of this process are significant developments in communication, transportation, and information technologies, and the effective use of these advancements by international enterprises.
The purpose of the Master’s Programs (with and without thesis) in International Trade and Logistics, offered under the Graduate School of Çankaya University, is to provide comprehensive education in international business, international marketing, international management, logistics and warehousing, microeconomics and macroeconomics, international economic theory and policy, international trade theories, foreign trade legislation, customs procedures, as well as international marketing research and investment opportunities. It aims to contribute to the individual development of candidates in the field of international trade and logistics within the dynamics of global competition.
