General Information:
The compulsory summer internship must be completed during the summer following the third academic year. Internships cannot be done during semester breaks.
Internship placements must be related to International Trade and Finance.
Internship placements must be in institutions that can be monitored/inspected, and there must be no family relationshipbetween the intern and the placement institution.
Students taking courses during the Summer School may not do an internship while enrolled. They may begin their internship on the first working day following their final exam in the Summer School exam period at the earliest.
For students who complete their internship abroad, Çankaya University does not provide any payments, including insurance premiums.
Internship work without an Internship Report will not be accepted.
Students may not be absent from their internship without a valid excuse. If a student is absent for three consecutive days without excuse, or if unexcused absences exceed 10% of the total internship period, the internship will be terminated and reported to the Department Chair. In such cases, students must repeat their internship and cannot claim any legal rights.
If, during inspections, it is determined that the student is absent without excuse, the internship will be terminated and considered unsuccessful.
Internship work is either accepted or rejected. Only ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits are awarded. The internship grade is not included in the student’s GPA.
